As the year comes to a close, we are reflecting with deep gratitude on the impact of the Molari Family Charitable Fund and on the community of donors who have made that impact possible.
The R.E.M. Jr. Memorial Scholarship was created in 1997 in loving memory of Richard Edgar Molari Jr., who passed away after a long and courageous battle with colon cancer. Richard believed, wholeheartedly, that education is the key to fulfilling dreams. In his honor, our family committed to helping young people take their next steps forward.
Since that first scholarship was awarded, 32 Taconic High School students have received financial support to continue their education in fields that reflect Richard’s passions and values: engineering, business, life sciences, and healthcare. These scholarships recognize students not only for academic achievement, but also for athletic dedication, leadership, and service to others.
Today, we proudly award two scholarships each year, continuing a tradition that has now spanned nearly three decades. Each award represents more than financial assistance, it represents belief in a student’s potential and confidence in their future.
Thank You for Making This Possible
To those who have donated in the past: thank you. Your generosity has changed lives, opened doors, and kept Richard’s legacy alive in the most meaningful way possible. Every contribution has helped a student move closer to their goals.
As we approach year end, we invite you to consider making a tax-deductible donation to help us continue this important work in the year ahead.
